Enjoy a luxury 5 star break at this resort, found in the North Male’ Atoll. It’s a short 15 to 20 minute speedboat transfer from the airport. The island itself is just half a mile long and 230 metres wide, surrounded by white sandy beaches and amazing marine life.

Paradise Island is known by the locals as Lankanfinolhu. It was opened as a dream holiday resort back in 1994 and has been home to many who want a relaxing, romantic holiday in tropical surroundings.

The Accomodation

There’s just 230 rooms in the resort so you are guaranteed to feel like your one of just a privileged few who have the island all to yourselves.

The Super Deluxe Beach Rooms are of superb quality. They are set just off the beach secluded by a line of trees. Decorated in white, they are light and airy. Each have modern comforts you’d expect such as a television and a minibar.

There’s also 40 water bungalows which are built on platforms above the ocean. Open your door each morning to be greeted by warm clear waters lapping away.

This is a gorgeous resort. It’s certainly worthy of 5 stars. It’s a place where you can relax and be lazy as much as you want but there’s stuff to do if you feel energetic. It’s ideal as a honeymoon destination without a shadow of a doubt.
